The Upright Post Light and Thermal Mount is a clamp on light and thermal holder and scanning system made for quad bikes, utes and buggies.
It clamps on to tubes and bars usually found on Quad Bikes and ATV's. If your bike does not have a steel tube tray you can mount a flat ply board on to the plastic tray and then use the board as your mounting platform.
If you want to mount it to the back of a ute or buggy you will need a mounting plate. The base post can bolt on to the SmartRest Mounting Plate. You will find the mounting plate here: Mounting Plate
You can mount a spotlight directly on to the RC220 remote supplied in the box. Or you can choose to purchase a quick release system (SRQRA) to make the spotlight quick detachable or you can attach a thermal via the QR system with the rail.
If you want to mount a Dual QR system so that you can run a spotlight and a thermal beside each other you can purchase a Dual QR Mount.
This system is best used when paired with SmartRest Quad Rest.
